About This Role
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a 27-bed unit for patients aged 5-18 experiencing acute mental health crises. This role is ideal for those passionate about Pediatric Psychiatry and eager to work within a multidisciplinary team.
📋 Highlights
•💰 Pay: $38.00 - $41.80/hour
•📍 Location: Rochester, NY
•⏰ Schedule: Full-time/Part-time, Rotating shifts
What You'll Do
•Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
•Build competency in care delivery and support unit activities.
•Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
•Participate in group therapy sessions focusing on wellness and coping skills.
•Support peers in delivering patient care services.
Requirements
Education:
•New graduate nurse with less than one year of experience
Experience:
•Experience as a mental health worker or with the pediatric population preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current RN License in New York
