About This Role
The Adult Vascular Access Specialist is responsible for providing competent direct patient care, supporting unit activities, and enhancing the care delivery system. This role is ideal for a motivated RN with excellent communication skills who can work both independently and as part of a team.
📋 Highlights
•💰 Pay: $38.76 - $50.39/hour
•📍 Location: Rochester, NY
•⏰ Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts
What You'll Do
•Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
•Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
•Insert and monitor PICC, Midlines, and PIV placements.
•Act as a resource for vascular access line therapy and IV assessment.
•Perform QA, chart audits, and follow-up with staff and physicians.
•Serve as charge nurse and preceptor to students or new employees.
•Participate in daily team check-ins and respond to patient consults.
•Educate patients, families, and staff nurses on line preservation and CLABSI prevention.
Requirements
Education:
•BSN required
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current RN License in New York
