About This Role
The Level II Registered Nurse at the Wilmot Hematology Oncology Clinic provides direct patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on oncology and hematology patients. This role is ideal for nurses with a passion for oncology and a desire to work in a compassionate environment.

What You'll Do
ā¢Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
ā¢Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
ā¢Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
ā¢Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
ā¢Manage complex oncology/hematology patients in collaboration with the attending physician and APP.
ā¢Perform assessments, care coordination, symptom management, education, and emotional support.
Requirements
Education:
ā¢1-year acute care experience required; oncology experience preferred.
Experience:
ā¢Desire to learn and grow in oncology nursing.
Licenses & Certifications:
ā¢Current RN License in New York.
