About This Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership and management for a designated patient care unit during night shifts, supporting the nurse manager in fostering an environment of excellence in patient care and staff development.

•💰 Pay: $140,000.00 - $159,000.00 Annually
•📍 Location: New York, NY
•⏰ Schedule: 10-hour Night shifts
What You'll Do
•Foster a culture embedded in NYULH's tripartite mission: to serve, to teach, and to discover.
•Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure excellence in quality and patient experience.
•Develop positive relationships across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
•Facilitate positive work environments founded on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
•Evaluate performance and assess practice of designated personnel fairly.
•Monitor staff attendance and ensure appropriate staffing for optimal patient outcomes.
•Provide direct patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
•Communicate significant patient care issues and concerns to leadership.
Requirements
Education:
•Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, MSN preferred
Experience:
•2 years of experience required
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State
•Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
•Certification in nursing leadership required upon eligibility
