About This Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager- Medicine (11 East) provides clinical leadership and management for a patient care unit, assisting the nurse manager in fostering an environment of excellence in patient service and staff development.

What You'll Do
•Foster a culture embedded in NYULH's mission to serve, teach, and discover.
•Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
•Develop positive relationships across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
•Facilitate a positive work environment founded on diversity and inclusion.
•Evaluate performance and assess practice of designated personnel.
•Monitor staff attendance and ensure appropriate staffing for patient safety.
•Provide direct patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
•Communicate significant patient care issues to leadership in a timely manner.
Requirements
Education:
•Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
Experience:
•2 years of experience required
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State
•Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
•Certification in nursing leadership required upon eligibility
