About This Role
The Experienced RN in Critical Care will provide direct nursing care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Fairview Hospital, collaborating with a team to deliver exceptional patient care for those with complex medical conditions.
📋 Highlights
•💰 Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
•📍 Location: Cleveland, OH
•⏰ Schedule: Day/Night rotation or straight Nights, 12 hour shifts
What You'll Do
•Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols.
•Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
•Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
•Serve as the primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care.
•Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
•Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
•Provide teaching and educational materials to patients and families.
•Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and clinical study.
Requirements
Education:
•Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
Experience:
•Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
•BLS certification required.
•ACLS certification required for Critical Care areas.
•Additional certifications may be required based on specific unit needs.
