About This Role
The Level 1 Registered Nurse is a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience, providing direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role is ideal for those looking to build competency in a fast-paced environment while supporting unit activities.

What You'll Do
ā¢Provide direct care to adult/geriatric patients
ā¢Care for a wide variety of diagnoses from Observation to Med-Surg level
ā¢Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
ā¢Prioritize and organize patient care effectively
ā¢Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse for 3 months
ā¢Attend didactic classes to reinforce learning
ā¢Be flexible with scheduling
ā¢Opportunity to work in the main adult ED after one year
Requirements
Education:
ā¢Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
Experience:
ā¢Less than 6-12 months of RN experience
Licenses & Certifications:
ā¢Active New York State RN license in good standing
