About This Role
The Senior RN in the Inpatient Medicine in Psychiatry Unit is responsible for providing competent direct patient care and supporting unit activities. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to enhance their leadership skills and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.

•💰 Pay: $44.26 - $57.55/hour
•📍 Location: Rochester, NY
•⏰ Schedule: Part time, Night shift
What You'll Do
•Perform and document patient care, medication administration, and care plans.
•Collaborate in developing patient care plans based on established standards.
•Implement age-specific and culturally competent nursing interventions.
•Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
•Serve as charge nurse and participate in shared governance as appropriate.
•Assist with unit performance improvement activities and quality initiatives.
•Complete required annual education and competency skills demonstration.
Requirements
Education:
•Diploma Degree, Associates Degree, or BSN required; BSN must be achieved within 5 years for certain graduates.
Experience:
•1 year RN experience in an acute care setting required.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current RN License in NYS required.
•Professional certification in specialty preferred.
