About This Role
As a New Grad RN Resident in the Cardiovascular Surgery Stepdown Unit, you will provide exceptional post-surgery medical support while working alongside a dedicated team. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to enhance their nursing skills in a supportive environment.
📋 Highlights
•💰 Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
•📍 Location: Cleveland, OH
•⏰ Schedule: Rotating days/nights, 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM – 7:30AM, with rotating weekends and holidays
What You'll Do
•Assist caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.
•Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
•Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
•Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
•Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
•Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
•Document in patients’ medical records.
Requirements
Education:
•Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Experience:
•New grad RN OR less than one year of RN work experience
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
