About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in the Med Surg unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide care to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients while participating in a comprehensive Nurse Residency program. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates seeking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment.


📋 Highlights

💰 Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
📍 Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
Schedule: Days, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation

What You'll Do

Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions
Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary
Document in patients’ medical records

Requirements

Education:

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

New grad or less than one year RN work experience, or experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience

Licenses & Certifications:

Current state licensure or pending licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross presented upon hire
