The PACU-Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on post-operative recovery for surgical patients. What You'll Do
•Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
•Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
•Support peers in delivering patient care services.
•Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
•Care for post-operative patients from various surgical specialties.
Requirements
Experience:
•2+ years in medical/surgical, ICU, or ED preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current RN License in New York
•ACLS certification preferred and required within 1 year
