Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.

At the Mass General Brigham Heart & Vascular Institute, our cardiology, cardiac surgery, and vascular care teams collaborate seamlessly to provide comprehensive, patient-centered heart and vascular care. Our cardiologists focus on diagnosing and managing heart conditions, our cardiac surgeons perform life-saving procedures like bypass surgery and valve repair, and our vascular specialists treat circulatory disorders affecting the arteries and veins, ensuring each patient receives a personalized, multidisciplinary approach for optimal heart and vascular health.

The Patient Navigator is a Registered Nurse who will function in a clinical integration and patient care coordination role in partnership with vascular medicine and vascular & endovascular surgery clinicians and other key stakeholders. The role is responsible for directing the patient’s progression from referral for consultation through ambulatory visits, testing, and procedures in collaboration with the intradisciplinary care teams – including physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing, technologists, and non-clinical support staff. The primary focus of the role is identification of patients who may be candidates for vascular disease care programs and facilitation of patient triage into the appropriate pathway. The role may also be asked to assist with clinical care in addition to patient triage to support the complex care needs of patients, their families, and caregivers.
