Job Summary:


Staff Nurse / Divisional Critical Care Float Pool ICU


The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:


Providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool.

Covering long term assignments in critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit.

Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Qualifications


To qualify you must have:


Minimum Requirements:


Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.

• Experience:


2 years of med/surg Nursing experience is required.

ICU experience preferred.

Interest in being cross-trained over time to cover long term assignments in critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit is desirable.

Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty area is encouraged.

Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.

Education:


Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required for newly licensed nurses.

Experience:


2 years of med/surg Nursing experience is required.

ICU experience preferred.

Skills/Certifications:


Membership in professional organizations is recommended.

Certification in specialty area is encouraged.
