The Ambulatory Care Nurse at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about patient-centered care and quality improvement.

What You'll Do
โขPerform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
โขCollect patient health history.
โขRecord information in electronic health record.
โขProvide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
โขAdminister medications and provide comprehensive wound care.
โขAssess and monitor patient responses to various treatments and procedures.
โขConsult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans.
โขDirect, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.
Requirements
Education:
โขBaccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved with conditions.
Experience:
โขMinimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area.
Licenses & Certifications:
โขCurrent Registered Nurse License in New York.
โขBasic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
โขACLS certification preferred.
