About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about patient-centered care and quality improvement.

What You'll Do
•Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
•Collect patient health history.
•Record information in electronic health record.
•Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
•Administer medications and provide comprehensive wound care.
•Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments and procedures.
•Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans.
•Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.
Requirements
Education:
•Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved with conditions.
Experience:
•Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current Registered Nurse License in New York.
•Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
•ACLS certification preferred.
