About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures in a cardiology setting. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans.

•💰 Pay: $42.50/hour
•📍 Location: Lake Success, NY
•⏰ Schedule: Per Diem
What You'll Do
•Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
•Collect patient health history
•Record information in electronic health record
•Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families
•Administer medications and provide comprehensive wound care
•Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures
•Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers for treatment plans
•Support quality initiatives to impact clinical outcome measures
Requirements
Education:
•Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved with conditions
Experience:
•Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
•Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
•ACLS certification preferred
