About This Role
The Triage Nurse role at Strong Memorial Hospital involves providing direct patient care for outpatient General Neurology patients, primarily through telephone triage and online interactions. What You'll Do
•Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
•Conduct thorough assessments of patient symptoms via telephone triage.
•Interact with patients through online patient portal communications.
•Manage in-person nurse appointments for education and medication injections.
•Determine appropriate levels and urgency of care based on patient symptoms.
Requirements
Education:
•Current RN License required.
Experience:
•At least 1 year of nursing experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Strong assessment skills.
•Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a healthcare team.
