About This Role
The RN 2 Outpatient position in the Division of Nephrology at Strong Memorial Hospital involves providing competent direct patient care in a growing nephrology practice. This role is ideal for nurses who possess strong critical thinking skills and can work collaboratively with a physician group to care for patients with chronic kidney disease.

What You'll Do
•Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory clinic.
•Administer vaccines and communicate lab results.
•Educate patients on health maintenance and triage needs.
•Manage patient telephone inquiries and coordinate medical care.
•Support peers and assume expanded roles such as charge nurse or preceptor.
Requirements
Education:
•Current NYS RN License required.
Experience:
•2 years of clinical experience preferred.
•Some outpatient experience preferred.
