Cleveland Clinic’s G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Patients in this unit have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi-system

Cleveland Clinic’s G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Patients in this unit have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi-system failure. Caregivers float to both sides of the unit, so you will have one foot in medicine and 1 foot in critical care.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM – 7:30AM. PRN works a minimum of 64 hours every 6 weeks.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
External applicants: two years of recent related nursing experience.
Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval.
Will consider military RN experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $41.00
Maximum hourly: $41.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
