About This Role
Join NYU Langone Health as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, where you will provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician treatment plans, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients and their families.

•⏰ Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift - Alternate weekend
What You'll Do
•Collect patient health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
•Perform initial assessments based on patient presentations.
•Record relevant data on the nursing component of the Interdisciplinary Admission Assessment.
•Conduct ongoing assessments as established by department policy.
•Incorporate discharge planning into the admission process.
•Analyze assessment data to identify problems and expected outcomes.
•Develop and communicate a plan of care with patients and families.
•Document the initial plan of care and provide updates as required.
Requirements
Education:
•Completion of a two-year training at an accredited School of Nursing
Experience:
•1 year of critical care experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
•BLS certification required
•ACLS certification required
•PALS and TNCC certifications preferred within the first year
