Join NYU Langone Health as a Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Care Coordinator, where you will coordinate clinical care for patients with impaired skin integrity, wounds, pressure injuries, and ostomies. This per diem role is ideal for experienced nurses passionate about wound care and patient advocacy.

What You'll Do
•Consult and evaluate skin/wounds for inpatients.
•Assist staff in providing care to patients with or at risk of developing wounds.
•Suggest proper support and positioning surface products.
•Monitor use of rental support surfaces.
•Advise staff on available and appropriate wound care products.
•Evaluate patient’s progress documenting in chart and communicating to nursing staff.
•Provide information to staff and patients regarding management of ostomy or continent diversions.
•Assist patient and/or family in ostomy or continent care plan.
Requirements
Education:
•BSN required with current Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) Certification OR MSN with Wound Care experience.
Experience:
•Minimum of five years of nursing experience.
•2 years leadership and education experience (can be combined).
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current NYS RN License.
•Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
