Cleveland Clinic’s Pediatric Catheterization Laboratory allows an interventional cardiologist and surgeon to work together on our patients. These combined, or hybrid procedures, can be done without cardiopulmonary bypass and can decrease patient recovery time. Our hybrid lab's advanced imaging technology also provides a safer environment for both our patients and staff because it significantly reduces radiation exposure while maintaining excellent image quality. A caregiver in this position works 7:00AM – 5:30PM with on-call requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings.
Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care.
Educate patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles in the department.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN Program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of recent experience as an RN OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Two years of recent experience as an RN
BSN
*For Cardiac Catheterization or other related procedural areas, one year of critical care experience in a hospital setting

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $41.00
Maximum hourly: $41.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
