About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse - Per Diem at NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group will support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a nurse who is committed to quality patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams.

What You'll Do
•Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
•Collect patient health history
•Record information in electronic health record
•Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families
•Administer medications and provide comprehensive wound care
•Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures
•Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers on treatment plans
•Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses and medical assistants
Requirements
Education:
•Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved with conditions
Experience:
•Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications:
•Current Registered Nurse License in New York
•Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
•ACLS certification preferred
