We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members.

What You'll Do
•Perform duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization.

•Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
•Establish caring relationships with staff, patients, and families.
•Administer medication and parenteral therapy according to policy.
•Establish priorities for patient care delivery and coordinate responsibilities.
•Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning.
•Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for patient care based on criteria pertinent to the patients served.
Requirements
Education:
•Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
Experience:
•1-2 years recent Endoscopy experience preferred
•In lieu of Endoscopy experience, 1-2 years recent OR experience will be considered
Licenses & Certifications:
•Registered Nurse License - NYS
•BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
•CNOR preferred
•CGRN Specialty Certificate preferred
